The Chapter is a private education institution exclusively for commerce students established in 1991. Since then the institution has bagged creditable and meritorious successes in academic results. Having crossed over a period of 21 years in its academic activities

1.Location and infrastructure
Located in the heart of Kollam city, The Chapter provides standard infrastructure and facilities for academic studies in Plus Two, B.com and M.com courses in addition to various computer courses. Accessibility from any part of Kollam District, Conveyance facilities, both private and public transport available at any time. A calm and serene atmosphere exists in the campus. Class rooms are fully furnished and spacious, well equipped computer lab and library suited to learning and pursuit of knowledge, and round the clock management and information system are our strengths.

The Chapter is a private education institution exclusively for commerce students established in 1991. Since then the institution has bagged creditable and meritorious successes in academic results. Having crossed over a period of 28 years in its academic activities, The Chapter has secured so many first ranks and first classes in B.Com and M.Com results published by Kerala University and M.G University. Every year our students secure a large number of first classes in B.Com and M.Com results in Kerala University. In plus two results (Open School stream, Govt. of Kerala) we keep ourselves the biggest result makers in Kollam district.

3. Recognitions
1. Recipient of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9001:2008 CERTIFICATE for quality
management. The Chapter is the only private commerce educational institution in Kerala to achieve this certification.
2. The Chapter Tally Academy housed in the main campus of the college is
accredited as the best Tally Academy by Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The Chapter
won the National Level Award for Online Examination and Registration.
3. Approved C-Dit centre of Kerala Govt. conducting courses in DCA, CEO,
DCFM, PGDCA etc.
4. The institution maintains a permanent Placement Cell that supports hundreds of candidates to get into the ambit of satisfactory jobs and employment. Campus Interviews from reputed companies are constantly kept with every year.

4. Academic Activities
The Academic heights scaled by students of The Chapter can be attributed to the intensive and systematic coaching given here. We have the following features to our credit:

7. Reading rooms and library with an assortment of periodicals, newspapers and over thousand books, both reference texts and circulation books.

5. Extra Curricular Activities
The Chapter gives equal importance to Academic pursuits and extra curricular
activities. The institution upkeeps actively six clubs having various social objectives.
They are-
1. Environmental Club
2. Arts Club
3. Sports Club
4. Cultural Forum
5. Social Service forum
6. Women’s Unit
These clubs engage the students in various activities-social, political and humanitarian throughout the year, without reducing their learning time. They conduct blood donation to the needy patients at any time. We have a Blood Donation Cell. Every year we collect thousands of saplings and distribute them among our students to enhance their environmental consciousness and love for nature. We also collect dress, medicine, food and money to extend
our helping hands to the inmates of poor houses and poor families along the coastal areas every year. We give thousands of notebooks to the poor students studying in about 48 schools in the Kollam district. We contribute our mite towards all the charitable services undertaken by the Kollam Corporation. The District Administration praised the relief work and voluntary services undertaken by our students, teachers and management on the event of the deadly Tsunami that happened in 2004. We provide scholarships and fee concession to all eligible candidates belonging to SC/ST, OEC, OFC etc.
Despite many constraints and limitations of a private institution The Chapter conducts in a grand style its Annual Celebration every year, brings out college magazine and organises cultural meets. Our college magazine ‘COLLAGE’ won the Mathrubhumi Award for best magazine in 2002-03. In 2011 The Chapter hosted ‘The National Folk Dance Festival’ in a magnificent manner and won the admiration of several dignitaries including The Labour
Minister of Kerala, The Honourable Mayor of Kollam Corporation and The District Collector.
